In recent years, a growing number of states have enacted or have considered enacting laws targeting fertility fraud. We applaud these efforts and will highlight that legislation here.
While fertility fraud legislation is necessary and long overdue, it is important to remember there are issues with donor conception that are not solved by fertility fraud legislation. To that end, DCC advocates for legislation that addresses the spectrum of lifelong issues donor conceived people face.
States in teal have already enacted at least some legislation aimed at donor conception. States in blue have enacted some legislation and have legislation proposed right now. States in pink have proposed legislation right now.
